We listened to you and we made changes
For a while now, our customers have been saying they want a long lead, four wire hinge in the most popular finish (US26D). We decided that you deserve this lower cost, reliable hinge that is easier to work with and requires less connections.
Because we are using less of our expensive TEFLON, MIL-SPEC wires (no heavy 20awg wires as our 2+4 model has) and since we only have to drill one hole for wires instead of two, we can offer these at a better price point.
We're sure you will agree that this hinge can be used for most simple electric lock installations, where you only need a power wire for small motors or solenoids, with maybe a REX.
